Das Interface Major BOSx - Motorola MTM800FuG wurde als Anschlusseinheit für die Funktronic Major BOS-Bedienpulte an Motorola MTM800FuG TETRA-Funkgeräte entwickelt.
Es werden zwei Bedienpultanschlüsse und zwei Funkgeräte-Anschlüsse unterstützt. Für einen voll ausgestatteten Major BOS4 werden dann zwei, für einen Major BOS8 vier Interfaces benötigt.
Das Interface Major BOSx - Motorola MTM800FuG erzeugt aus der Sprache das Squelch-Signal zum Major-Bediengerät und schleift das PTT-Signal vom Major zum Funkgerät durch. Sowohl Squelch als auch PTT können in ihrer Polarität zum/vom Major umgeschaltet werden.
